We won!

With this evening’s unanimous refusal by the Planning Panel, our community has been vindicated.  The Panel concurred with all the reasons that we raised as to why this development was wrong for this location.
Both landowners have had their development applications refused by the Northern Planning Panel.

Thank you all of you who have stayed with us on this campaign to keep profit driven destroyers of the environment out of our town and our Shire. They will always keep coming but for now we can relax a little.

This is a fantastic result from a community that has kept telling whoever would listen that the reasons we never wanted this site zoned for intensive development were sound and based on good science, proper planning and Environmentally Sustainable Development principles.

If only the New South Wales government had listened to us in the first place!

There are way too many people to thank here for this mammoth effort. Most of you know the key figures but there were so many who have helped along the way.
